Tackle Diabetes, Save Lives
Touchdown for Diabetes 2013Thursday, September 19, 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
In southwest Michigan alone, about 66,000 people are living with diabetes.* While there’s no cure for this disease, the condition can be effectively managed.
To help diabetics without insurance tackle their disease for a longer life, Cole Community Solutions, Inc. sponsors an exclusive fundraiser called Touchdown for Diabetes. This year marks the 17th year Cole Century Buick-Cadillac-GMC Truck will transform its dealership into a huge tailgate party that allows guests to socialize, eat, browse silent auction items and enjoy entertainment – all in support of diabetes patient care.
Touchdown for Diabetes 2012 was a huge success, with over $103,000 raised to provide diabetes care for the uninsured in the Greater Kalamazoo Area! Proceeds totaling 1.4 million dollars have been raised for diabetes care by Cole Century and Cole Community Solutions over the past 17 years.
Remember, every penny raised from Touchdown for Diabetes stays in Kalamazoo County.
